Caldwell University Women’s Basketball Unveils 28-Game 2026-27 Schedule

Preseason exhibition game at Rutgers, Regular Season tips off Nov. 9 vs. Saint Michael’s

CALDWELL, N.J.-- Caldwell University sixth-year women's basketball coach Christie Conforti today announced the squad's 28-game regular season schedule, opening with a regional battle with Saint Michael's at the George R. Newman Center on Monday, Nov. 9. Caldwell will also play a preseason exhibition game at Rutgers University in New Brunswick on Oct. 30, a highlight of the campaign.

After the home opener, the Cougars continue their rugged slate at the Northeast 10 Conference Challenge Tournament on November 13 at host Pace University and November 14 vs. Adelphi University.

The Cougars are also set to play home games against CACC rivals Jefferson University (11/24), Felician University (12/8), Holy Family University (12/12), Georgian Court University (1/2), University of Bridgeport (1/13), Wilmington University (1/30), Dominican University (2/10), Post University (2/16), Chestnut Hill College (2/20) and Goldey-Beacom College (2/27) for a total of ten home rival games on the season. They additionally host non-league contests vs. Mercy University (11/18), College of Staten Island (12/20), and Monroe University (1/27).

Conforti's team will also travel to CACC adversaries Wilmington University (12/5), Dominican University (1/5), Goldey Beacom College (1/9), Chestnut Hill College (1/16), Post University (1/19), Jefferson University (1/23), Felician University (2/2), Holy Family University (2/6), Georgian Court University (2/13), and University of Bridgeport (2/24) in addition to a non-league away contests vs. Assumption University (11/21) and Molloy University (11/29), and an in-season scrimmage with Monroe University (12/2).

The top eight teams in the CACC will advance to the CACC Tournament. The #1 through #4 seeds host first round matches on Mar. 2, with those winners advancing to the semifinals, also at their home site, on Mar. 6, followed by the finals at Holy Family University on Mar. 7. Last season, the Cougars finished 21-9, 13-7 in CACC play, good for the no. 3 seed entering the tournament. Caldwell dropped a tough 65-61 decision to Felician in the CACC Semifinal game.
