NEW HAVEN, CONN. -- Caldwell University's women's bowling squad, which has advanced to the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) finals in each of the past three seasons, winning the league in 2022-23 and 2023-24, has been picked to finish second in a poll of the circuit's coaches, the CACC announced today.
CU grabbed one first place vote for a total of 20 points, five fewer than defending champion Felician, which garnered the other five first-place votes. Dominican, Wilmington, Holy Family and Chestnut Hill rounded out the poll.
The Cougars return six letterwinners, including an All-CACC Second Team performer in junior
Alex Sardis (Milltown, N.J.) and seniors
Samantha Glunk (Chatham, N.J.) and
Madison Lacey (Browns Mills, N.J.), as well as soph
Faith Perrin (Brick Twp., N.J.), who rolled the first perfect 300 game in Caldwell bowling history last year.
Head Coach
Ken Yokobosky is in his 12th year at the helm. The Cougars open the season on Oct. 11 at the Bud Whitman Memorial in New Castle, Del.
