NEW HAVEN, Conn. -- Two Caldwell Baseball student-athletes have been named to the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) All-Academic Team, the league announced today.

The honored Cougars are:

• John Rigas (Lincoln Park, N.J.) Sophomore, 3.62 GPA, Accounting 
• Brandon Scalisi (New City, N.Y.) Senior, 3.85 GPA, Criminal Justice 

Scalisi is a three-time CACC All-Academic recipient and Rigas is a two-time honoree. 

To be eligible for the All-Academic Team, a student-athletes must meet the following criteria: a) minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 at the end of the immediate preceding term; b) minimum of two semesters enrolled as full-time student at member institution, before Spring 2025; c) student-athlete must be second year student-athlete at member institution; and d) student-athlete must have been athletically eligible the season preceding the award and used a season of eligibility.
