GREENWOOD, Ind. – Senior first baseman Chris Hopf (Middlesex, N.J.), junior outfielder Jimmy Turchi (Bridgewater, N.J.), junior pitcher Vincent Sangataldo (Medford, N.J.) and senior pitcher John Rigas (Lincoln Park, N.J.) have been named to the 2026 Collegiate Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team for Baseball, the organization announced.
It is the third such honor for Rigas, who won the award both in 2024 and 2025. It is the first appearance on the All-District Team for Hopf, Turchi and Sangataldo.
The CSC Academic All-America program separately recognizes baseball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
The four are now eligible to move to the National CSC Academic All-America ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced.
