Box Score YAPHANK, N.Y. -- Freshman shortstop Alan Hernandez (Boca Raton, Fla.) had two hits and two RBI and junior 3B Chris Hopf (Middlesex, N.J.) had two hits as Caldwell baseball fell to Queens, 11-4 in a non-league contest at Lasorda Legacy Park.

Trailing, 4-0, after three, the Cougars (16-15) rallied with three in the fourth on a sacrifice fly by senior 2B Joseph Witt (North Arlington, N.J.) and two-run single by Hernandez to close the deficit to 4-3.

After the Knights (9-18) pushed across a run in their half of the fourth, the Cougars answered again with a marker in the fifth, with Hopf scoring on a double play grounder.

Caldwell next visits Chestnut Hill on Wednesday in a CACC doubleheader in Philadelphia, beginning at noon.
