Lauren Marks (Parsippany, N.J.) averaged 220.25 and soph
Alexandra Sardis (Milltown, N.J.) went for 178.50, pacing Caldwell Bowling to a perfect 4-0 day in traditional format on the first day of the CACC Invitational #2 at Lodi Lanes. Marks' score was 30 pins clear of the field, and Sardis placed seventh after the four matches.
Marks opened the day with 240 and 247 games, helping CU to wins over Holy Family and Felician. Sardis had a high game of 210 in he opener, when the Cougars had their highest team pinfall total of the day, 972.
The Cougars also got big days from junior
Samantha Glunk (Chatham, N.J.), who was 11th overall at 174.75, and soph
Allie Rumfield (Phillipsburg, N.J.), right behind in 15th at 167.0.
Combined with the results from the first CACC Invitational held in November, Caldwell and Felician are tied at 11-3, with Wilmingon three games back at 8-6.Â
Day 2 on Sunday will feature Baker format scoring, with the final standings determining both the regular season champion and the seeding for the CACC Championships, March 21-23 in Southampton, Pa.
