Prairie View, Texas -- The Caldwell University Bowling team has been named a National Tenpin Coaches Association (NTCA) All-Academic Scholar team and six members of the squad earned NTCA All-Academic Scholar Athlete honors, the organization announced.
As a team, Caldwell's cumulative 3.659 GPA for the 2025-26 academic term ranked 12th among bowling programs across all NCAA Divisions.
The six Cougars honored for achieving a 3.40 GPA or better during the academic year include:
Izzy Bille (Bloomfield, N.J.), Fr., English & Business Administration
Samantha Glunk (Chatham, N.J), Sr., Business Marketing
Madison Lacey (Browns Mills, N.J.), Sr., Psychology
Faith Perrin (Brick Township, N.J.), So., Nursing
Alex Sardis (Milltown, N.J.), Jr., Psychology
Emily Tarsio (Newburgh, N.Y.), Fr., Communications & Media Studies.
Under the tutelage of 11th-year Head Coach
Ken Yokobosky, the Cougars finished 40-23, the best winning percentage (.635) in school history. Caldwell was 15-5 in CACC competition, second best in the league.
To qualify for the NTCA All-Academic Scholar Team award, programs must have maintained a cumulative team GPA of 3.2 or higher during the 2025–26 academic year. This year, 60 teams earned this prestigious distinction, exemplifying a strong commitment to excellence both on the lanes and in the classroom.
