Brooke Corbett (Staten Island, N.Y.) was named CACC Women's Basketball Co-Defensive Player of the Week and junior guard
Jah'Nel Lewis was selected to the Weekly Honor Roll for their respective performances over the weekend.
Corbett, the reigning CACC Defensive Player of the Year, grabbed 12 rebounds and nabbed five steals, spearheading the Cougars' stifling defensive effort in Caldwell's 49-36 win over Pace on Saturday. She also contributed five points, four rebounds and two assists to go with a steal vs. Adelphi on Friday.
Lewis had a team-best 20 points, surpassing the 1000 career point mark and adding seven rebounds vs. Adelphi. She followed up with game-high 24 plus seven rebounds, two assists, two steals in the win over Pace.
The Cougars next host Queens on Wednesday at 5 p.m. at the Newman Center.
