NEW HAVEN, Conn. -- Caldwell University women's soccer senior goalkeeper
Ariana Gaminara (Las Vegas / Faith Lutheran HS) has been selected as the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Student-Athlete of the Month for September 2025, CACC Commissioner Dan Mara announced today. Gaminara earned the award for demonstrating success on the field during the month, while also being a standout in the classroom and giving back to her community.
Gaminara, a business administration major with a 3.74 cumulative grade point average, recorded shutouts in five of the team's first eight contests during the month, notching a 0.60 goals against average in five CACC games, all CU victories. She was named CACC Goalkeeper of the Week on Sept. 28 after stopping a penalty kick to preserve a 1-0 win over Chestnut Hill.
She is two-time Second Team All-CACC performer and two-time CACC All-Academic team member, as well as earning College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District honors in 2003 and 2004.
She is the school's all-time leader in victories (32), shutouts (24), goals against average (0.92) and save percentage (.832) and fourth in saves (278).
Gaminara's community service work includes membership in Caldwell's SAAC, the Women's Soccer Leadership Committee, Sticks n Kicks Soccer Club as youth developmental coach and participation in the Cougar Day service day on Sept. 26. She is also a team captain.
The CACC Student-Athlete of the Month Award is handed out from September to May each academic year. It recognizes one student-athlete from any sport active during that month. Gaminara's honor is the fifth for a Caldwell student-athlete in the past 12 awards, joining Lauren Marks (March 2024), Joey Datta (October 2024), Brooke Corbett (February 2025) and Ashleigh Tavaska (March 2025).
