Ayla Fraser (Passaic, N.J.) and senior forward
Rosio Cardenas (Forked River, N.J.) have been named to the United Soccer Coaches All-East Region Women's Soccer teams, the organization announced today.
Gaminara and Gervais were selected to the Second Team, while Fraser and Cardenas earned Third Team honors.
Gaminara, the CACC Goalkeeper of the Year and First Team All-CACC performer, is the school's all-time leader in victories (37), shutouts (26), goals against average (0.92) and save pct. (0.830), posted a 12-3-4 overall mark in 2025 with seven shutouts and a 1.26 GAA. She is also third all-time in school history in saves (308), third in minutes played (6192). The first Cougar to win CACC Goalkeeper of the Year award, Gaminara was also recognized as the September 2025 CACC Student-Athlete of the Month and earned CSC Academic All-District for the third straight year.
Gervais, a two-time All-CAC First Team performer, was the 2024 CACC Player of the Year. This year, she placed fourth in the conference with 11 goals and tied for fourth assists with nine, notching 31 points, good for second best in the circuit. She scored the first two goals in CU's 3-0 win over Chestnut Hill in the CACC Tournament Semifinals, and was also named D2 CCA Second Team All-East Region.
Fraser was twice named CACC Defensive Player of the Week, helping CU allow the fourth fewest goals (11) in CACC play. She also contributed two goals and two assists.
Cardenas tied for the league lead with 12 goals and ranked fourth with 28 points. She scored goals in six straight mid-season contests, notching three game-winning markers and posting a team-best 61 shots. Her 21 career goals are 10th in school history, and her 50 points are tied for 10th. She earned CACC Player of the Week on 9/7 and was selected to the Honor Roll three times.
Caldwell finished at 13-3-4, its best winning percentage ever (.750) and appeared in the CACC Women's Soccer Championship Game for the second straight season in 2025 under third-year Head Coach
Sammy Adjei.
