NEW HAVEN, Conn. -- A total of 184 Caldwell University student-athletes from among 14 CACC-sponsored sports have earned Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Spring 2024 Academic Honor Roll status, as announced by league Commissioner Dan Mara. 

Nineteen of those student-athletes achieved perfect 4.0 spring semesters, marking them as FAR Award of Distinction honorees, including seven member of the Caldwell women's soccer team. An additional 92 attained 3.50-3.99 marks, placing them on the Presidents' Level. And 73 recording semester GPAs of 3.0-3.49 were placed at the Commissioner's Level.

"This level of success by our student-athletes in their academic careers is extremely gratifying," said Mark A. Corino, Caldwell University Assistant Vice President and Director of Athletics. "That the majority in every sport received these honors is further testament to their dedication to success not just on the playing fields but in the classroom."

"The CACC and its member schools work extremely hard in making sure that student-athletes excel in the classroom," Commissioner Mara added. "The total number of individuals on the Academic Honor Roll illustrates the tremendous effort put forth by administrators throughout our conference in mentoring student-athletes and teaching them that a college education will take them even further then they thought possible. Our student-athletes are learning valuable life lessons by achieving tremendous success in the classroom."

In all, 2123 student-athletes in the 12 member schools earned the honor.
