Cougars Bowling Wins Two of Four, Places Sixth of 13 After Day 1 at Wildcat DII/DII Invitational

Marks Sizzles With 22.2 Frame Average; Baker Format Victories over Chestnut Hill, Adelphi Heading in to Day 2

NEW CASTLE, Del. -- Caldwell Bowling won two of four matchups in Baker format action at the Wildcat Invitational at Bowlerama in Day 1 action on Friday.

Senior Lauren Marks (Parsippany, N.J.) had the Cougars' top frame average, a blistering 22.20 pins. junior Yoana Hyman-Cruz (Edison, N.J.) was next at 18.34, followed by freshman Alexandra Sardis (Milltown, N.J.) at 18.10, sophomore Samantha Glunk (Chatham, N.J.) at 17.02 and junior Sydney Tabor (Delran, N.J.) at 16.70.

The Cougars totaled 4605 pins in five matches (including the one uncontested bye) placing sixth among the 13 teams competing.
