Alexandra Sardis (Milltown, N.J.) was right behind her at 20.00, leading Caldwell bowling to four wins in five matches on Sunday on Day 2 at the Bud Whitman Memorial. CU won two of its three Baker format matches, then won both of its bracket matchups to complete the highly successful day and tournament.
The Cougars (6-4) began the day with triumphs over Coppin State, 883-847, and Howard, 861-804, with the team of junior

Allie Rumfield (Phillipsburg, N.J.), Sardis, junior
Samantha Glunk (Chatham, N.J.) and Marks posting a 246 in their first Baker game vs. CSU to set the tone for the day.
A slightly altered lineup that moved freshman
Faith Perrin (Brick Twp., N.J.) into the fivesome was just as strong against Howard, a 209 in the second game pushing the team to victory.
In bracket format, the Cougars defeated both of those opponents, taking a 4-1 verdict from Coppin and 4-3 over Howard to close out the event.
Rumfield finished the day with a solid 18.30 frame average, Glunk hit for 17.38 and Perrin toppled an average of 15.92.
