Alfredo Oidor (Garfield, N.J.) have been named to the 2023 Academic All-District Men's Track and Field Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators (CSC). They will now all be placed on the CSC Academic All-America ballot.
All three were among six Cougars who were earlier named to the CACC All-Academic Men's Track & Field Team.
Chaush, a Psychology major with a 3.91 GPA, capped a fine season with a fourth place finish in the discus at the CACC Championships. He also tossed a school-record 42.74 at the King's College Monarch Open.
Issah sports a 3.80 GPA in Accounting. He was second in the long jump (school record leap of 7.03m) at the CACC Championships, breaking his own school record, and competed on the Cougars' 4x100 team at the Penn Relays.
Oidor, a Psychology major with a 3.70 GPA, shaved more than two seconds off the school record in the 1500, completing the event in 4:13.10 at the Ramapo College Invitational. He also broke 16 minutes at 5000m the Silfen Elite distance night meet in Connecticut.
