Lauren Marks (Parsippany, N.J.) averaged a team-best and season-high 197.6 over her five matches, freshman
Alexandra Sardis (Milltown, N.J.) was next at 179.4 and classmate
Allie Rumfield (Phillpsburg, N.J.) averaged 179, with all of her four scores within 19 pins of each other, as Caldwell won three of four matches in team competition on the first day of the Coppin State Lady Eagles Classic at AMF Woodlawn Lanes.
Marks, whose average was second best on the first day, posted a high of 233 among her scores, which also included 199 and 196 games. Sardis, who ranked 11th overall on Day 1, had games of 193 and 191.
Also contributing mightily to the successful day was junior
Yoana Hyman-Cruz (Edison, N.J.) at 159.6, rolling all five matches (which included a fifth game unopposed, for individual scoring).
