SINKING SPRING, Pa. -- Junior Yoana Hyman-Cruz (Edison, N.J.) averaged 16.88 pins per frame and freshman Alexandra Sardis (Milltown, N.J.) felled 16.63 as the Cougars earned one win in five Baker format matches on Day 2 of the Golden Bear Classic hosted by Kutztown University at Berks Lanes on Sunday.

The Cougars' win came against Mount St. Mary's, with the team of soph Madison Lacey (Browns Mills, N.J.), freshman Allie Rumfield (Phillpsburg, N.J.), Hyman-Cruz, Sardis and senior Lauren Marks (Parsippany, N.J.) winning, 881-861 in the Cougars' best scoring performance of the day.

Marks (16.60 pins/frame), Rumfield (16.00) and soph Samantha Glunk (Chatham, N.J.) (13.59) were the other high scorers on the day.

Overall, the Cougars finished 10th at the event.

The Cougars (6-13) next host the CACC Invitational #1 at Rockaway Lanes in Rockaway, N.J. on Nov. 11 and 12.
