NACODOCHES, Texas- The Caldwell University women's bowling team was ranked 12th in the National Tenpin Coaches Association DII/DIII Final Coaches Poll.
In the DII/DIII poll, 2021-22 NCAA Champion McKendree University earned the top spot with a unanimous 16 first place votes for 308 points. Maryville University, University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, Lewis University and East Coast Conference Championship Wilmington University took the top-five spots in the poll.
The Cougars, under the direction of eighth year Head Coach
Ken Yokobosky, finished fifth in the qualifying round of the ECC Championship. The Cougars won two matches in the double elimination round before falling short. Senior
Jenna Rapach (Hazleton, Pa.) and
junior Rhianna Smith (Mt Olive, N.J.) earned ECC First Team All-Conference honors. Yokobosky was named the ECC Co-Coach of the Year as he led the Cougars to the most wins in program history. Smith also earned ECC All-Tournament Team recognition for her performance in the conference championship.
