LOUISVILLE, Ky.- Caldwell University softball sophomore second base Taylor Mischler (Endicott, N.Y.) and senior outfielder Anyssia Ramirez (Brentwood, Calif.) were selected to the National Fastpitch Coach Association East Region Second Team after a standout 2021 season.
 
Mischler shined in her first full season for the Cougars as she was a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference First Team selection this season. She was second on the team with a .406 batting average with 30 runs scored, 41 hits, 18 doubles, two triples and 20 RBI, while stealing seven bases. Mischler led the CACC in doubles and ranked eighth in runs, ninth in hits and tenth in batting average.
 
Ramirez was a CACC Second Team pick this season after leading the Cougars with a .427 batting average. She finished tied for second on the team with three homeruns and posted 32 hits, eight doubles, 18 RBI and three stolen bases. Ramirez ended the season ninth in the conference in batting average.
