GALLOWAY TOWNSHIP, N.J.- The Caldwell University men's track and field team competed in their second meet of the season as freshman
Kyle Kuren (Woodland Park, N.J.) broke his school record at the Stockton University Invitational.
Kuren finished in fifth place with a school record throw of 35.07 in the hammer throw.
Senior
Denis Gray (Kingston, Jamaica) finished in first place in the triple jump with a distance of 13.40 meters.
Sophomore
Anthony Gola (Nutley, N.J.) took eighth place in the 100 meter dash with a time of 12.31, while finishing in 12th place in the 200 meter dash with a time of 24.67.
Freshman
Chad Manning (Belleville, N.J.) place ninth in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:03.97.
Freshman
Curtis Wright (Glassboro, N.J.) finished in ninth place in the 100 meter dash with a time of 12.37.
Senior
Jared Dockett (Bloomfield, N.J.) placed fourth in the long jump with a distance of 5.94 meters.
Sophomore
Desmond Marfo (Irvington, N.J.) finished in 12
th place in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:07.15.
Caldwell's 4x100 relay meter team of Gola, Wright, Dockett and Gray posted a time of 46.51. The Cougars 4x400 relay team of Manning, Dockett, Marfo and senior
Sagar Pangeni (Birendranagar, Nepal) finished with a time of 3:35.94.
The Cougars return to action as they compete in the Stockton University Invitational on Friday, April 30.
