GWYNN OAK, Md.- Caldwell University women's bowling senior
Jenna Rapach (Hazleton, Pa.) earned tournament MVP honors as the Cougars finished in second place to close out play at the Lady Eagles Invitational hosted by Coppin State University.
Caldwell went 4-1 on Sunday, finishing the weekend with an 8-2 record for the tournament and close out the first half of the season at 24-15 overall.
The Cougars defeated Bloomfield College 926-692 and edged Norfolk State University 893-813. Caldwell downed host Coppin State 888-811 and defeated Howard University 931-845.
The tournament moved to positional play as the Caldwell faced Morgan State University in the first place match. The Cougars fell short 863-822 to take second place for the tournament.
The Cougars return to action after the calendar flips to 2022 as they compete in the Seahawks Invitational hosted by Wagner College January 22-23.
