LODI, N.J.- Caldwell University women's bowling senior
Madison Perry (Hawthorne, N.J.) earned Tournament MVP honors at the Cougars season opening NY Metro Classic hosted by Felician University. The Cougars finished 2-2 on the opening day and posted three bowlers in the top-10 in four traditional matches.
The Cougars opened the tournament with a 933-827 loss to host Felician. Caldwell defeated Bloomfield College 951-874 and fell to Chestnut Hill College 931-924. The Cougars closed out the first day of the tournament with a 1,000-921 win over Molloy College.
Perry was the top finisher in four traditional matches as she posted a 210 traditional average with a high game of 257. Junior
Jenna Rapach (Hazleton, Pa.) finished in sixth place with a four-round average of 198.5 and a high round of 224.
Senior
Deanne Murray (McMurray, Pa.) placed tenth with a four-round average of 187.5 and a high game of 226. Sophomore
Rhianna Smith (Mount Olive, N.J.) rounded out the top finishers with a 164.7 average and a high game of 174.
The Cougars conclude play at the NY Metro Classic on Sunday, January 31 with four baker matches.
