BROOKLYN, N.Y.- The Caldwell University women's bowling team was recognized by the National Tenpin Coaches Association as the organization announced its individual and all-academic team honorees.
The Cougars posted an outstanding 2018-19 season as they captured the East Coast Conference Championship for the first time in program history. They participated in their first-ever National Collegiate Women's Bowling Championship this past spring. Caldwell was ranked seventh in the final NTCA DII/DIII National poll.
To be recognized on the NTCA All-Academic Team, a student athlete must have a cumulative GPA of 3.4 or higher for the academic school year. Caldwell had five bowlers receive academic honors among 268 honorees among the

The Cougars were also honored with the All-Academic Team Award. To be recognized, programs must have a cumulative team GPA of a 3.2 or higher for the academic school year. Caldwell posted a team GPA of 3.510 and ranked in the top-10 among the 38 NCAA bowling programs that earned all-academic honors.
