Overview
The Caldwell University Women's Bowling team faces Sacred Heart University in the National Collegiate Women's Bowling Championship Play-in Round on Saturday, April 6 at 1 p.m. at Millsboro Lanes in Millsboro, Delaware. The Cougars earned an automatic bid to the national tournament by capturing the East Coast Conference Championship. Caldwell holds a 53-45 record this season including a 7-2 record in the ECC Championships.

Season Match-Ups
The Cougars and the Pioneers faced each other twice this season. At the SHU Bowl for the Cure in October, Caldwell won a traditional match 911-896. The following weekend at the Caldwell Cougar Classic, the Pioneers evened the season series with an 881-676 traditional victory.
 
Scouting the Cougars
Freshman Jenna Rapach (Hazleton, Pa.) leads the Cougars this season with an 18.93 baker average. She has totaled 400 strikes this season. Senior Jamie Lee Kulaga (Hazleton, Pa.) has posted an 18.65 baker average this season with 381 total strikes. Senior Amanda Scharf (North Brunswick, N.J.) is averaging 18.12 in baker format with 388 strikes. Freshman Victoria Vucak (Garfield, N.J.) currently has a 17.86 baker average with 125 strikes this season.
 
ECC Season Honors
Rapach earned the program's first major award as she garnered ECC Rookie of the Year honors. She posted a 20.11 baker average in the ECC Championship as she was selected as the tournament's Most Outstanding Bowler. Rapach was a three-time ECC Rookie of the Week selection as well as a ECC Bowler of the Week honoree. Kulaga was named the ECC Bowler of the Week in February.
 
Next Up
The winner of this match faces the top overall seed in the tournament in Vanderbilt University in the 2019 National Collegiate Women's Bowling Championship Elite 8 April 11-13. The remainder of the championship matches will be hosted at RollHouse Wickliffe in Wickliffe, Ohio.
