Jenna Rapach (Hazleton, Pa.) was selected as the East Coast Conference Women's Bowling Rookie of the Year after an outstanding season for the Cougars. In addition to the major conference award, Rapach earned ECC Second Team All-Conference honors.
A four-time ECC weekly honoree, including three straight Rookie of the Week selections, during the season, Rapach had the highest overall frame average of any ECC rookie at 18.4. She also ranked among the ECC leaders in individual statistics with an 18.7 Baker frame average (6th), an 89.9 Baker single pin spare percentage (2nd), and a 19.6 anchor bowler 10th frame scoring average (6th).
In the first season as an associate member of the ECC, the Cougars are seeded third heading into Saturday's double-elimination portion of the ECC Championships after posting a 3-2 record with a total pin fall of 4,792 on Friday.
