MILLSBORO, Del.- The Caldwell University women's bowling team competed on day three of the University of Maryland Eastern Shore Hawk Classic to close out the first half of their season.
 
The Cougars entered Sunday's bracket play in 16th place. Caldwell opened the bracket with a 4.5-0.5 loss to St. Francis College Brooklyn. The Cougars came up short to St. Francis University 4-1 and were edged by Kutztown University 4-3.
 
The Cougars return to play when the calendar turns to 2020 as they will compete in the Golden Bear Classic hosted by Kutztown on February 7-9.
