NEW CASTLE, Del.- The Caldwell University women's bowling team posted four wins on day one of the Wildcats Invitational hosted by Wilmington University.
The Cougars won their opening match 838-796 to Kutztown University and defeated Chestnut Hill College 893-827. Caldwell edged Bloomfield College 899-858 and defeated Daemen College 848-804. The Cougars ended their day with a 1,041-855 loss to Felician University and take fifth place after the opening day with 4,333 total pin fall.
Sophomore
Jenna Rapach (Hazleton, Pa.) led the way with a 20.85 baker average. Sophomore
Victoria Vucak (Garfield, N.J.) posted a 17.22 baker average, while junior
Deanne Murray (McMurray, Pa.) finished with a 17.02 average.
Freshman
Jessica Fetik (Staten Island, N.Y.) posted a 16.67 average, while junior
Gabriella Pangaro (Clifton, N.J.) totaled a 16.04 average.
The Cougars compete at the Wildcats Invitational for day two of the tournament on Saturday, November 16.
