SINKING SPRINGS, Pa.- The Caldwell University women's bowling team opened their 2019-20 season with two wins on day one of the Bud Whitman Memorial Tournament hosted by Chestnut Hill College.
The Cougars lost their first baker match of the day with an 871-848 loss to Mount Aloysius College. Caldwell won their next two matches as they defeated Coppin St. University 998-845 and downed Howard University 967-874. The Cougars fell to Felician University 986-898 and lost to host Chestnut Hill 878-839. Caldwell ended the day in eighth place with a total pinfall of 4,547.
Sophomore
Jenna Rapach (Hazleton, Pa.) led the Cougars with a 20.38 baker average. Junior
Gabriella Pangaro (Clifton, N.J.) posted a 19.96 baker average, while junior
Madison Perry (Hawthorne, N.J.) finished with a 19.51 average. Sophomore
Victoria Vucak (Garfield, N.J.) averaged a 16.80 in baker play, while junior
Deanne Murray (McMurray, Pa.) finished with a 16.30 average.
The Cougars wrap up play at the Bud Whitman Memorial Tournament on Sunday, October 12.
