TOWSON, Md.- The Caldwell University women's bowling team posted five wins on day two to remain unbeaten at the James Brown Invitational hosted by Morgan St. University. The Cougars posted a 10-0 mark after two days of the tournament for the first time in program history.
The Cougars opened the day with a 968-810 win over Chestnut Hill College. Caldwell defeated Fairleigh Dickinson University 984-938 and edged Norfolk St. University 947-942. The Cougars wrapped up the day with an 872-852 win over Fayetteville St. University and a 917-720 win over Coppin St. University. Caldwell ended the day in third place and will compete in match play on Sunday.
Senior
Daniele Roca (Garden City Park, N.Y.) shined for the Cougars as she posted a five-round traditional average of 210.2. She posted four 200+ rounds with a 199 in her fifth game and a high score of 225.
Freshman
Madison Perry (Hawthorne, N.J.) posted a four-round traditional average of 192.25 with a high round of 232. Junior
Amanda Scharf (North Brunswick, N.J.) posted a five-round average of 186.2 with a high round of 210. Junior
Jamie Lee Kulaga (West Hazelton, Pa.) rounded out the top finishers with a five-round average of 181.6 and a high score of 207.
The Cougars wrap up play at the James Brown Invitational on Sunday, February 18.
