NEW CASTLE, Del.- The Caldwell University women's bowling team posted a pair of wins as the Cougars finished in second place to close out play at the Wilmington University Wildcats Invitational.
Caldwell entered the day in second place as they started bracket play. The Cougars defeated the tournament leader Adelphi University 4-2 and Penn St. Altoona 4-0 to advance to the tournament championship match. Caldwell came up short to Chestnut Hill College 4-3 to finish the tournament in second place.
Sophomore
Madison Perry (Hawthorne, N.J.) earned all-tournament honors as she finished in the top-five in traditional play.
The Cougars are off until the calendar turns to 2019 when they will compete in the Golden Bear Classic hosted by Kutztown University February 8-10.
