NEW CASTLE, Del.- The Caldwell University women's bowling team posted three wins as the Cougars ended day two of the Wilmington University Wildcats Invitational in second place.
Caldwell lost their opening match to Adelphi University 897-856. The Cougars defeated New Jersey City University 979-805 and host Wilmington 936-800. Caldwell posted their third win of the day as they defeated Medaille College 939-822. The Cougars lost their final match of the day to Chestnut Hill College 876-791 to finish day in second place.
Sophomore
Madison Perry (Hawthorne, N.J.) led the Cougars with a traditional average of 188.2 in five rounds. Perry posted a high round of 209. Freshman
Jenna Rapach (Hazleton, Pa.) posted a five-round average of 185.2 with a high round of 202.
Senior
Jamie Lee Kulaga (West Hazleton, Pa.) turned in a five-round average of 177 with a high round of 201. Senior
Amanda Scharf (North Brunswick, N.J.) rounded out the top performers with a five-round average of 169.8 and a high round of 211.
Caldwell wraps up play at the WU Wildcats Invitational on Sunday, December 2 in New Castle, Delaware. The Cougars will compete in the championship bracket as they will face the tournament leader Adelphi to start the final day of competition.
