ROCKAWAY, N.J.- The Caldwell University women's bowling team opened day one of the Cougar Classic with a win over Molloy College. The Cougars fell in their remaining four baker matches on the first day of competition.
 
The Cougars began their first home tournament with a 916-847 baker win over Molloy College. Caldwell fell to Kutztown University 862-786 and were edged by Adelphi University 795-790. The Cougars lost to St. Francis College Brooklyn 914-872 and ended the first day with a 886-822 loss to Felician University.
 
This weekend is the "Green Game" for the Caldwell women's bowling team as the Caldwell Athletics Department raises awareness about mental health issues.
 
Caldwell will gear up for day two of the CU Cougar Classic on Saturday, October 27 beginning at approximately 9:25 am.
