READING, Pa.- The Caldwell University women's bowling team posted two wins to close out play at the Bud Whitman Classic hosted by Kutztown University on Sunday.
Caldwell lost their opening match 951-914 to Saint Francis College Brooklyn but bounced back to defeat Coppin St. University 940-812. The Cougars fell to LIU Brooklyn 895-805 and posted an 823-694 win over Penn St. Behrend. Caldwell ended the tournament with an 878-848 loss to Roberts Wesleyan University.
Freshman
Jenna Rapach (Hazleton, Pa.) finished in 17th place with a five-round traditional average of 182 and a high round of 214. Senior
Jamie Lee Kulaga (West Hazleton, Pa.) posted a four-round traditional average of 176.75 with a high round of 211.
Sophomore
Madison Perry (Hawthorne, N.J.) finished with a 173.5 average in four rounds and a high score of 195. Senior
Amanda Scharf (North Brunswick, N.J.) rounded out the top finishers with a four-round average of 163.25 and a high round of 201.
The Cougars will compete in the Bowl for the Cure tournament hosted by Sacred Heart University on Saturday, October 20.
