ALTOONA, Pa.­- The Caldwell University women's bowling team concluded play at the Red Flash Invitational hosted by Saint Francis University with a fifth place finish on the final day of the competition. The Cougars posted a 1-2 record in match play to take fifth place.
 
The Cougars opened the day in fourth place and came up short 4-3 in their opening match to third seed Duquesne University. Caldwell lost their second match of the day with a 4-2 setback to sixth seed Kutztown University.
 
Caldwell ended the tournament with a win as they defeated fifth seed Norfolk State University 4-1 to take fifth place at the tournament.
 
The Cougars are back in action on February 9-11 as they will compete in Golden Bear Classic hosted by Kutztown University.
