EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP, N.J.- The Caldwell University women's bowling wrapped up play at the Hawk Flight Invitational as they finished the weekend in ninth place following Sunday's bracket format.
The Cougars opened the day with a 4-2 loss to St. Francis Brooklyn. Caldwell moved on in the bracket where they faced LIU Brooklyn and fell 4-0 to the Blackbirds.
Caldwell finished the tournament on a positive note as they defeated Duquesne University for their final match of the day 4-3 to take ninth place.
The Cougars are off until the Northeast Conference Championship beginning on Saturday, March 25 in Howell, NJ. Caldwell is the #6 seed in the NEC Championships and will face off against the #3 seed St. Francis Brooklyn in the opening round. The tournament is double-elimination.
