Amanda Scharf (North Brunswick, N.J.) came in 15th place after five traditional matches on Day 2 of the Hawk Flight Invitational.

Scharf posted a five-round traditional average of 192.20 with a high game of 214. Sophomore
Jamie Lee Kulaga (West Hazelton, Pa.) placed 18th with a five round average of 188.8 with two high games of 211.

Daniele Roca (Garden City Park, N.Y.) bowled a 166.8 average with a high game of 179. Sophomore
Alexis Policastro (Carteret, N.J.) was right behind Roca with a 165.6 average along with a high game of 210. Sophomore
Madison Miller (West Deptford, N.J.) posted a four-round average of 160.00 with a high game of 178, while sophomore
Lillianna Sigona (Haskell, N.J.) bowled a 141 in her lone round.

The Cougars battled some national powerhouses with four of the teams they faced ranking in the top-15 in the nation. Caldwell fell to Delaware St. 891-866, and came up short to Youngstown St. 966-932. The Cougars fell to Vanderbilt 898-825 and lost to Sam Houston St. 973-898. Caldwell wrapped up the day with a 926-827 loss to Monmouth.

Caldwell finished the second day in eighth place with the final day moving to a double-elimination bracket format on Sunday, March 5. The Cougars face St. Francis Brooklyn in the opening round with ensuing match-ups being decided based on the bracket results. Â
