WALLINGFORD, Conn.- The Caldwell University women's bowling team competes in the Bowl for the Cure hosted by Sacred Heart University.
Caldwell fell in five traditional matches at the tournament. The Cougars opened tournament play with a 1,030-951 loss to Molloy College and fell 1,043-920 to Adelphi University. Caldwell were edged by Felician University 953-942 and fell to Franklin Pierce University 952-858. The Cougars ended the tournament with a 1,177-892 loss to Sacred Heart.
Freshman
Gabriella Pangaro (Clifton, N.J.) finished in 18th place for the tournament with a four-round average of 208.5. She posted a high round of 265. Junior
Amanda Scharf (North Brunswick, N.J.) came in 22nd place with a five-round average of 191.4 with a high round of 216.
Junior
Jamie Lee Kulaga (West Hazelton, Pa.) posted a five-round average of 188.8 with a high round of 204 as she finished in 26th place. Senior
Daniele Roca (Garden City Park, N.Y.) finished in 32nd place with a four-round average of 177 and a high round of 213. Junior
Madison Miller (West Deptford, N.J.) came in 35th place with a four-round average of 173 with a high round of 194.
The Cougars are back in action November 3-5 for the Fairleigh Dickinson University Jamboree.
