READING, Pa.- The Caldwell University women's bowling team wrapped up the Bud Whitman Classic hosted by Kutztown University with two wins in traditional play. The Cougars finished the day with a 2-3 record and ended the tournament with a 5-5 record for the season.
Caldwell posted an 888-762 win over Coppin St. University to open day two. The Cougars dropped their next three matches as they fell to Adelphi University 1,013-809, Franklin Pierce University 930-797 and Kutztown 995-950. Caldwell ended the tournament with a 955-807 win over Howard University.
Junior
Amanda Scharf (North Brunswick, N.J.) led the Cougars with a 23rd place finish with a five-round traditional average of 190.2. Senior
Daniele Roca (Garden City Park, N.Y.) came in 31st place with a five-round average of 182.80. Junior
Jamie Lee Kulaga (West Hazelton, Pa.) posted a four-round average of 168.5, while senior
Natalie Pedri (Staten Island, N.Y.) finished with a four-round average of 190.0.
The Cougars are back in action as they will compete in the Bowl for the Cure Tournament hosted by Sacred Heart University on Saturday, October 21.
