ALTOONA, Pa.- Sophomore 
Amanda Scharf (North Brunswick, N.J) led the Caldwell University women's bowling team on Day 2 of the Red Flash Invitational.
 
Scharf was the Cougars top bowler on Day 2 as she posted a five-round traditional average of 179.6. She bowled a high round of 203 and finished in 26th place out of over 100 bowlers in the tournament. Junior 
Daniele Roca (Garden City Park, N.Y.) placed 30th as she posted a five-round average of 177.6. She bowled a high-game of 213.
 
Sophomore 
Jamie Lee Kulaga (West Hazelton, Pa.) bowled a five-round average of 173.4 with a high round of 186. Sophomore 
Madison Miller (West Deptford, N.J.) posted a four-round average of 167.5 with a high game of 197. Sophomore 
Alexis Policastro (Carteret, N.J.) rounded out the top performers with a five round average of 161.0 and a high game of 181.
 
The Cougars went 2-3 on day two as they opened traditional play with an 830-819 win over the University of Pittsburgh-Bradford. Caldwell was edged by Morgan St. University 918-914 but bounced back to defeat Penn St. University-Altoona 822-676. The Cougars finished the day with two losses as they fell to Saint Francis University (Pa.) 1,018-878 and Duquesne University 846-814.
 
Caldwell finished the second day in fifth place at the Red Flash Invitational. The tournament moves to bracket play on Sunday. The Cougars can remain in fifth place following bracket play but can finish no worse than eighth place.
