ALTOONA, Pa.- The Caldwell University women's bowling team opened up the second half of their season with a four wins on Day One of the Red Flash Invitational.
Caldwell opened the tournament with an 840-553 over Thiel College in baker format. The Cougars continued winning as they downed New Jersey City University 917-755.
The Cougars defeated Norfolk State University 923-779 for their third baker win of the day. Caldwell finished day one undefeated as they topped St. Francis College Brooklyn 878-819. The Cougars averaged 176.8 in five baker rounds as they sit in second place after the opening day.
Caldwell returns for day two of the Red Flash Invitational on Saturday, January 28 in Altoona, PA.
