READING, Pa.- The Caldwell University women's bowling team opened their 2016-17 season with a 4-1 record at the Kutztown University Baker Invitational.
The Cougars opened the season with three wins to start the baker format. Caldwell down Daemen College 812-747 and defeated Chestnut Hill College 854-841.
Caldwell won their third match of the day as they defeated Molloy College 881-758. The Cougars lost their lone match of the day as they fell to Delaware State University 980-887. Caldwell bounced back as they defeated host Kutztown 945-885.
The Cougars are back in action on Sunday, October 16 for Day Two of the Kutztown Fall Invitational. The tournament will conclude with traditional match play on Sunday.
