NEW BRUNSWICK, N.J.- The Caldwell University women's bowling team continued play at the Fairleigh Dickinson University Jamboree as they went 5-5 in match play on Day 2.
The Cougars lost their first three matches of the day as they fell to Sam Houston St. 1,041-787. Caldwell also lost to Vanderbilt 984-870 and Stephen F. Austin 1,086-956.
Caldwell rallied to defeat Felician 883-834 and lost to Adelphi 896-883. The Cougars won their next two as they edged Monmouth 862-853 and Franklin Pierce 941-906. They fell to University of Maryland Eastern Shore 841-809 but won their last two matches of the day. Caldwell defeated Valparaiso 965-887 and Morgan St. 880-779 to close out Day 2.
Freshman
Jamie Kulaga (West Hazelton, PA) led the Cougars was she posted an average round of 183.50. Freshman
Emily McLaughlin (Seaford, NY) averaged 181.70, while sophomore
Daniele Roca (Garden City Park, NY) posted an average of 179.50.
The Cougars conclude play at the FDU Jamboree on Sunday, November 1.
