WALLINGFORD, Conn.- The Caldwell University women's bowling team continued their strong start to their season as they competed in the Bowl for the Cure hosted by Sacred Heart University.
Freshman
Alexis Policastro (Carteret, NJ) led the Cougars as she posted a five round average of 182.80, taking 11
th place, while freshman
Emily McLaughlin (Seaford, NJ) placed 14
th with an average score of 175.75. Caldwell has two more finish in the top-20 as freshman
Amanda Scharf (North Brunswick, NJ) posted an average round of 174.8 for 17
th place and sophomore
Daniele Roca (Garden City Park, NY) came in 18
th place with an average score of 173.6.
In match play, McLaughlin and Roca both advanced to the semifinals of the tournament with
Jamie Kulaga (West Hazelton, PA) and Policastro reaching the quarterfinals.
The Cougars are back in action on October 30-31 as they will compete in the FDU Jamboree.
