READING, Pa.- The Caldwell University women's bowling team opened their 2015-16 season on Saturday at the Baker Invitational hosted by Kutztown University. The Cougars competed in six matches as they went 3-3 in Day One.

Caldwell lost a close opening match to Howard University 902-901 but rallied to win their next three match-ups. They took the win against Mt. Aloysius 966-792 and Medaille 869-803. They also took the win in match #4 against Coppin St. 886-746.

The Cougars came up short in their final two matches, falling to Delaware St. University 954-822 and Adelphi University 903-833.

The Cougars conclude play at the Baker Invitational on Sunday, October 18.
