NEW BRUNSWICK, N.J. – The Caldwell University bowling team wrapped up the second day of competition at the Fairleigh Dickinson Jamboree, held at Carolier Lanes Saturday afternoon. The Cougars (0-11), who competed for the first time as a collegiate program yesterday at the Jamboree, lost traditional matches to Arkansas State, Felician, Cheyney, Pitt-Bradford, Franklin Pierce and Wisconsin-Whitewater.
Freshman
Kellie Ehrmann (Monroe Twp., NJ/Monroe Twp.) led the Cougars on Day 2 with 912 pins over six matches. Freshman
Daniele Roca (Garden City Park, NY/New Hyde Park Mem.) was next with 879 pins, followed by freshman
Vanessa Mantione (Matawan, NJ/Bishop Ahr) with 860 pins. Freshmen
Deborah Andrews (Lindenwold, NJ/Lindenwold) and
Natalie Pedri (Staten Island, NY/St. Joseph by the Sea) also competed for Caldwell.
The Cougars, coached by
Ken Yokobosky, will play on the final day of the FDU Jamboree on Sunday, Nov. 2 at Carolier Lanes.
