BROOKVILLE, N.Y. – The Caldwell College cross country team competed at the LIU Post Invitational Saturday morning, held on the LIU Post campus. Freshman Taylor Landis (Middletown, NJ/Middletown South) was the first Cougar across the finish line in 83rd place.
Landis completed the 5,000-meter course in 22 minutes, 24.34 seconds. Senior Sara Wilkins (Williamstown, NJ/Williamstown) came in six second later in 88th place. Rounding out the top five for Caldwell were sophomore Ana Carballo (Clifton, NJ/Clifton), junior Abigail Lenz (Vernon, NJ/Vernon Twp.) and freshman Tracy Fogel (West Caldwell, NJ/Caldwell).
Next up for the Cougars is the NJAIAW Meet at Richard Stockton College on Saturday, Sept. 22.
