PHILADELPHIA  -- Freshman Lizbeth Castillo (West New York, N.J.) placed 15th at today's CACC Women's Cross Country Championships at Belmont Plateau, in the process earning All-Conference honors. Castillo completed the 5K course in 21:58.42, the seventh straight race in which she has paced the Caldwell squad.

Also finishing in the top 40 for the Cougars, who placed ninth of the 10 competing squads with a team score of 186, were junior Dayanara Grau (Union City, N.J.), who took 27th at 23:22.95,, and freshman Ashley Mercado (Franklin Square, N.Y.), who was 39th at 25:21.88.

Others scoring for the Cougars were senior Isabella Pollock (Fair Lawn, N.J.) (48th, 27:14.35) and sophomore Ria Datta (Edison, N.J.) (57th, 29:36.61).

Freshmen Sarahi Liger (30:19.12) and Heather Obote (31:56.33) also competed for the Cougars.
