WATERBURY, Conn. - The Caldwell College cross country squad lost a close dual meet to Post University, 26-29 Thursday afternoon at Hop Brook Lake Park. The Cougars were led by freshman
Jaclyn Feola (Belleville, NJ/Belleville), who took second place in her second straight meet.
Feola finished 26 seconds behind Post's Quistara Leona, who won the 3.1 mile race. Senior
Shannon Coyle (Matawan, NJ/St. John Vianney) followed closely behind Feola to take third place. Freshman
Danielle Cleary (Rockaway Twp., NJ/Morris Knolls) and seniors
Katie Doster (Wayne, NJ/Wayne Valley), pictured, and
Lauren O'Connell (South Amboy, NJ/St. John Vianney) rounded out the Cougars' lineup in seventh, eighth and ninth place, respectively.
The Cougars are back in action on Saturday, Sept. 23, when they will participate in the Wilmington College Invitational, beginning at 10:00 a.m.
