Wiland Wuestrich (Leipzig, Germany), boosting Caldwell University men's soccer to a 3-2 CACC triumph over Goldey-Beacom at Caldwell Athletic Field on Saturday afternoon.
After spotting the Lightning (1-4-2, 0-1 CACC) a ninth-minute goal, the Cougars got the equalizer on Torjman's first goal, a one-timer off a feed from freshman forward

Then just under three minutes into the second half, Wuestrich bent in a free kick from the left side of the box, about 18 yards out, clean into the upper left of the goal to give CU (3-3, 1-0 CACC) a 2-1 lead. GBC's Sam Ball ran down a ball along the rigth sideline and lifted a shot into the goal in the 73rd minute to get GBC back within a goal, but the Cougars defense held fast to earn the win.
CU outshot GBC, 18-10, in the spirited contest.
The Cougars next host Holy Family next Saturday at 11 a.m.
