CALDWELL, N.J. -- Caldwell University second-year men's soccer coach Max Correa today announced the squad's 16-game regular season schedule, opening at the Bentley University Tournament on August 27 vs. St. Michael's College and August 29 at the host Falcons. The Cougars return home for their Caldwell Athletic Field opener on Sept. 2 vs. Molloy University.
The Cougars are also set to play home games against CACC rivals Goldey-Beacom College (9/19), Holy Family University (9/26), Thomas Jefferson University (10/3), Post University (10/13), and Georgian Court University (10/17) for a total of five home rival games on the season. They additionally host non-league contests vs. the University of District Columbia (9/12) and Monroe College (10/21).
Correa's team will also travel to CACC adversaries Felician University (9/29), Dominican University (10/7), Wilmington University (10/10), Chestnut Hill College (10/24), and University of Bridgeport (10/27) in addition to a non-league away contest vs. Adelphi University (9/16).
The top eight teams in the CACC will advance to the CACC Tournament. The #1 through #4 seeds host quarterfinal matches on Oct. 31, with those winners advancing to the semifinals, also at their home site, on Nov. 3, followed by the finals at Wilmington University on Nov. 7. Last season, the Cougars finished 5-9-3, 3-5-2 in CACC play.
