George Nets Season-High Three Goals, Women's Lacrosse Bows to So. Conn

Ciresi Nabs Three Ground Balls

CALDWELL, N.J. -- Sophomore midfielder Jessica George (So. Brunswick, N.J.) scored a season-high three goals and freshman attack Summer Ciresi collected three ground balls as Caldwell women's lacrosse fell to Southern Connecticut, 23-4, at Kiwanis Oval on Tuesday afternoon.

George scored in each of the first three periods for the Cougars, who also got a tally from junior midfielder Tiana Cipot (No. Brunswick, N.J.).

Senior midfielder Meghan Korzevinski (New Hyde Park, N.Y.) nabbed three draw controls and two ground balls for the Cougars (1-4).

Caldwell continues its five-game homestand with a CACC matchup with Thomas Jefferson University on Saturday at 11 a.m. at Kiwanis Oval.
